Editorial policy

This policy governs how calculator pages and supporting guides are written and maintained.

Content standard

• We write for task completion first — word count is never a target.
• Every formula example on this site is independently checked before publishing.
• Secondary keywords are used only where they genuinely match the page's search intent.
• We don't publish separate pages purely to capture keyword variants when one page already answers the query.
• We avoid mass-generated, near-duplicate pages — every page must add unique data, logic or decision value.

Independence

Calculators and their default assumptions (material densities, typical rates, standard conventions) are set from general reference sources, not from any advertiser or affiliate relationship. Where a page includes outbound links to suppliers or resources, those links reflect editorial judgment about usefulness, not payment for placement.

Corrections

If you find an error in a formula, a worked example, or written content, please contact us. Formula corrections are prioritized above all other content updates.
